PTA Meetings in 2012

The year 2012 will be extremely important for the Polish allergology – in this year will be organized XI International Congress of Polish Society of Allergology and III Clinical Forum of Experts of National Programme of Early Diagnostic and Treatment of Asthma POLASTMA.

XI International Congress of PTA - the most important event in Polish allergology will take place on 12-15 September 2012 in Ossa, Poland. The title of the Congress will be "30 years of Polish Allergology" - 30 years ago, in Bydgoszcz, a group of nearly 200 physicians interested in the integration of allergological environment created Polish Society of Allergology. Today, the PTA has almost 2000 members and is one of the most recognizable and active medical societies in Poland, as well as a partner in international organizations and medical institutions. XI International Congress of PTA is a great opportunity to resume the 30 years of Polish allergy and to develop guidelines to fight against allergic diseases in our country, because in a short time the number of people suffering from allergies in Poland exceeds the number of people without allergies.

Earlier, III Clinical Forum of Experts organized by the National Program of Early Diagnostic and Treatment of Asthma POLASTMA will be held on 18-21 April 2012 in Wisla. III Clinical Forum of Experts, which takes place with title "Asthma without Frontiers" is more specialized than the Congress of PTA, and concerns the diagnosis and treatment of a disease of asthma. 4 million people in Poland suffers from asthma - but incorrect treatment or lack of diagnosis of this disease in the majority of them is a serious problem of Polish medicine. On Clinical Forum world-renowned experts share their knowledge about asthma, new and effective methods of early diagnosis and treatment.
