We invite you to become familiar with special four pages supplement dedicated to immunotherapy which was prepared by Polish Society of allergology and published in newspapers: "Super Ekspress" and "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna".
Immunotherapy campaign

We would like to inform you that today in „Super Express” newspaper you can find special appendix prepared under patronage of Polish Society of Allergology devoted to immunotherapy issue.
Appendix contains articles and interviews with Polish Society of Allergology experts, history of patients suffering from allergies who are treated by immunotherapy procedure and useful information about epidemiology of allergic diseases.
This initiative was inspired by European Declaration on Immunotherapy published by EAACI. According to statements from this document, Prof. Barbara Rogala, President of Polish Society of Allergology created social campaign devoted to immunotherapy and allergic diseases burden in Polish society. Next activities of this campaign will be promoted on PTA website.
We hope that this campaign will raise a social awareness of allergic diseases in Poland.
The new Statute of the PTA

PTA representatives on the XXX Congress of the EAACI

PTA representatives took an active part in the last Congress EAACI emphasizing the Polish presence of allergy in an international company. Active part in EAACI Congress lectures, workshops, and other Congress activities took President of PTA – Prof. Barbara Rogala, Prof. Piotr Kuna, Prof. Marek L. Kowalski. Prof. Andrzej Szczeklik conducted “Meet the Expert” sessions. Also Prof. Marek Jutel, Doc. Radoslaw Spiewak, Doc. Grazyna Bochenek, Doc. Radoslaw Gawlik and Dr Anna Groblewska were active participants of EAACI Congress. Dr Ewa Bogacka led symposium of EAACI Interest Group of Ophthalmology.

New President of the EAACI

New President of EAACI is Prof. Cezmi Akdis from Switzerland. New President will be leading EAACI to 2013.
One of the first initiatives of the new President of the EAACI was a visit in the National Society Village on Congress EAACI. Prof. Akdis Cezmi with – Prof. Barbara Rogala presented the organization and operation of the PTA.
